A Heritage of Flavor and Family
Wine has always been part of my life. As a Burgundy native, my fondest memories are rooted in the Sunday family lunches at my grandparents' home.
Their greatest joy was gathering children and grandchildren together to share hearty regional dishes like Coq au Vin.
At the center of the table, there was always a bottle of wine, usually a Burgundy red. It wasn’t just a drink; it was a symbol of sharing, culture, and the art of being together. This is where my passion began.
The Heart and Soul of Sensation Vin
I entered the professional wine world in 2002, immediately after my studies. I was recruited by Damien Delattre at "L'Ecole des Vins de Bourgogne" to organize and prepare tasting courses. After four years of a successful partnership, we decided to build something of our own. In 2006, we co-founded Sensation Vin in Beaune. Our vision was to create a modern, independent, and warm tasting space, a place where the wine experience is transformed into a human adventure. Having been there since the very first day, I have spent two decades shaping the identity and the unique pedagogical approach of our school.
A Bridge between Cultures
Having welcomed visitors from all over the world and traveled through vineyards from Napa to Mendoza, I know that wine is a universal language, but that every palate has its own story. My international experience allows me to explain Burgundy not as an isolated island, but in context with the wines you already know and love. I don’t just teach you about our wines; I help you find your own place within the complex map of Burgundy.
Expertise Forged in the Field
I believe true expertise is grown in the vineyard. Since 2002, my knowledge has never stopped growing, by observing the landscapes, meeting with winemakers, and tasting daily with my clients. While Burgundy is my soul, I am convinced that a great taster must remain objective. This is why I travel every year to explore the world’s vineyards, from the USA and Australia to Argentina, Brazil, and across Europe. This global perspective allows me to constantly refine my palate and bring fresh insights back to my tasting table in Beaune.

My Philosophy: Demystifying Excellence
For me, wine is a high-end product of pleasure and sharing, but it should never be intimidating. I refuse to use intimidating or overly technical jargon. My mission is to provide a clear, understandable language for everyone.
Whether you are a complete beginner or a seasoned connoisseur, my goal is the same: to ensure you leave with a deeper understanding of Burgundy and, above all, the confidence to enjoy and talk about wine with ease. No pretension, just the keys to a better tasting experience.
